Halos are a part of a headgear-free magnetic based CPAP mask system called Eclipse that uses two small surgical foam adhesive patches called Halos to complete a seal on the end user's nose. It is the smallest CPAP mask in the world. It is a one-size-fits-most application that works with any CPAP unit on the market. Must be used with Eclipse Frame to work. Eclipse Frame is sold separately. Eclipse and Halos solve the top 20 pain points in the industry as a one-size-fits-most CPAP solution: Leaks, broken hair, marks on the face, nostril chaffing, headgear sliding up the back of the head, dry eyes, ability to sleep in any position, tangled hair, follicle infections, silicone allergies, claustrophobia, headaches caused overtightened headgear on neck, etc.
Must clean skin with an astringent prior to application. Witch Hazel can be used to start out cleaning as a mild astringent (DreamPreps), but isopropyl alcohol may need to be used for oiler skin. DO NOT USE SOAP to clean skin. Soaps leave oils and moisturizers behind that will cause the adhesive to not adhere.
Will not work with DreamPort or the DreamWay Connector Kit.
MAGNETIC WARNING: Magnets used in the Eclipse™ are within ICNIRP guidelines for general public use. The magnetic strength is 65 mT. Ensure the mask is at least 0.8 inches (2 cm) away from any active medical implant or medical device (e.g., pacemaker, defibrillators, neurostimulators, cochlear implants, hearing aids), to avoid possible effects from localized magneticfields. If patient/household member has magnets or metal in their bodies consult a physician prior to use.
